In 1993 the MedScan brand was created and MedScan Diagnostic Systems was opened for business in Cleveland, OH U.S.A. Since that time MedScan has been selling and distributing medical equipment under their proprietary brands of MedScan and MedScan MDS to medical facilities throughout the world. MedScan's products include medical equipment from leading manufacturers such as GE OEC, Siemens, Philips, Hologic, Toshiba, Ziehm, Hitatchi, Medison and others.

MedScan offers a wide range of new and pre-owned imaging and surgical equipment and turn key services tailored to the individual needs of each facility. MedScan's services encompass all necessary aspects of site development including initial site inspections, provision of CAD drawings, consultations with physicists regarding safety compliance related to installation of equipment, subsequent installation and registration of equipment by certified engineers, and optional applications training of staff on equipment, all of which faciliate trhe sucessful conclusion to the development of imaging and surgery centers.

For customers who require financing, MedScan's offers several financing options from one of serveral banks and leasing companies who are well known in the medical equipment financing field. Following credit approval, the lender will provide a range of interest rates and a variety of leasing terms ranging from 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 or 72 months.
